Hawks Mha Female version

Hi, any My Hero Academia fans out there? Silly question am I right? So today as I was making my daily stroll down the hall to go bother my kid sister, I arrived at her door and was greeted by the smug winged hero that we all know and love…or not love—depending on where you are in the anime… Well anyhow she had the cutest little stuffed animal doll thing of him sitting on her desk. I looked at him and something ignited haha. THUS the below Hawks Fan art was born.

He was male at first but slowly I started digging the idea of what a female version of him would look like and this is my creation! Enjoy the progress pics and such!

Wax

Funny story, I had such a hard time coming up with a name for him. But then one day my boyfriend heard me struggling, and made the suggestion. Wax. At first I was like WAX? Like ear wax bro? And he said nah nah, it’s a cool name think about it! Lol then I thought about it some more and decided that must be his nick name. I then created a full first name for him. Waxton. Lol it’s a name I don’t think I’ve ever heard before but it sounds mad legit so it was decided.

Wax has had ALOT of changes. Mainly because I’m still learning how to keep my characters on model each time I draw them. Below you will see the version of him that I’ve settled on and have redrawn so much that he looks similar each time I draw him. (Yaaaay! Finally)

I used this image as a reference and tried over and over to draw the same essence from different angles.

From what I’ve learned on the World Wide Web, basically if your character has significant features that stand out, ALWAYS draw those things with that character. This way, even if the face isn’t an exact match, when you see my fluffy haired lad with blonde tips and a blue earring you will know it’s Wax. Hehe. =]
